This off-grid home in Kiah was designed for durability, comfort, and long-term performance. Powered by an independent solar system with on-site water catchment and storage, the home responds carefully to its environment while remaining completely self-reliant for life on the farm.

Highly insulated and built for thermal efficiency, the home combines robust materials with thoughtful solar passive design. Burnished concrete floors, local blackbutt cladding, and a central woodfire create a warm and grounded living space, while integrated bushfire protection adds another layer of resilience.
