This high-performance home in Merimbula supports comfortable, long-term living through thoughtful passive design, durable materials, and a high-performing building envelope. Central to the home is the Miglas AliClad window system, a thermally broken double glazed timber and aluminium composite system that captures winter solar gain while improving thermal efficiency year-round.

A Pro Clima wall and roof membrane paired with a ventilated cavity batten system creates a breathable, highly insulated envelope that actively manages moisture and airflow. This works alongside a ducted mechanical heat recovery ventilation system, supplying filtered fresh air while recovering heat from exhaust air to maintain a healthier and more stable indoor environment.
