TATHRA ARCHITECTURAL HOME
Tathra
2024
This new home build in Tathra was designed to endure. After bushfire destroyed the original home in 2018, this new home focuses on strength, longevity, and high-quality natural materials including galvanised Z600 steel, Natural Brick lutyens, natural travertine tiles, and spotted gum flooring and joinery.
Galvanised steel balustrades salvaged from the original home were redesigned into the new build, preserving a connection to the past. Combined with a solar system, battery storage and underground fire bunker, the home was carefully built to better withstand bushfire conditions and stand the test of time.
